The back porch is the perfect office space on spring mornings.
The side porch railing is my salad bar... complete with chicken wire covering since the deer think it's also their salad bar.
Every corner of the deck has a pot with some kind of plant in it. It's like a bonus garden.

Welcome Elfie! (Elfaba is our new little bantam hen. She's black, but her feathers shine green in the sun.)
What a pretty little thing! She follows close to me when I'm outside, my little partner.
The other six haven't been mean to her, but they haven't been very welcoming either.
How fun to see my beautiful amaryllis bloom.
